Why You Might Need an Older Version
There are a few legitimate reasons to roll back to a previous release. Your phone might be running an older Android version that the latest update no longer optimizes for. Sometimes new updates introduce bugs on specific device models — Samsung's custom One UI layer occasionally conflicts with third-party app updates, though these issues usually get patched within a week or two.
Some users preferred the interface layout of a previous version. Hypic v8.0.0 introduced a significant UI redesign, and not everyone liked the new toolbar arrangement. If you were comfortable with v7.x's layout, those versions are still functional.
One thing to keep in mind: older versions don't receive security patches. If you're using a version more than three months old, check back periodically for the newer releases. The latest version (v8.3.0) is generally the safest and most stable option.
How to Downgrade
Uninstall Current Version
Go to Settings > Apps > Hypic > Uninstall. Save any important projects or photos first, as app data is deleted during uninstallation.
Download Desired Version
Find the version you want from the list above and tap the download button. The APK file saves to your Downloads folder.
Install the Old Version
Open the downloaded APK and install it like any other app. Make sure Unknown Sources is enabled in your Settings.
