"Challenge Required" or Checkpoint Loop
Root Cause: Instagram detected that Niva Follower is logging in from an unrecognized device model or IP subnet, triggering an identity confirmation screen.
- Close Niva Follower completely (Force Stop).
- Open Chrome on your phone, visit
instagram.com, and log into your burner account. - Complete the "This Was Me" or security code challenge.
- Wait 15 minutes, then reopen Niva Follower and re-enter credentials.
Coin Mining Freezes / "Action Blocked"
Root Cause: You surpassed Instagram’s hourly rate limit (typically 50-60 actions/hour). The app halts automation to protect your burner identity.
Do not force-restart the auto-bot. Let the burner rest for 2 hours. In Niva Follower Settings, change the jitter delay slider from 2 seconds to 6–10 seconds to prevent future trigger events.
"Parse Error" or "App Not Installed"
Root Cause: Conflicting signature keys with a previously installed build, or an incomplete APK download package.
Uninstall all older versions of Niva Follower from your device. Clear the cache of your Package Installer. Re-download the official v8.5.0 APK file from our Download Hub and verify the SHA-256 hash.
Black Screen on Launch (Android 14 & 15)
Root Cause: GPU hardware rendering conflicts on newer Android versions that enforce 64-bit ABI memory layout.
Update Android System WebView via the Google Play Store. If the issue persists, install Niva Follower v8.5.0, which includes native arm64-v8a patched libraries.
Never Use VPNs During Mining
Data center VPN IPs are intensely blacklisted by Meta. Using a shared free VPN causes immediate checkpoint challenges. Use your residential mobile 4G/5G connection instead.
Rotate Multiple Burners
Keep 3 separate burner profiles active in the app’s account switcher. Collect 100 coins on Account A, switch to Account B, and so forth.
Clear Cache Weekly
In your Android device settings, clear the cached data for Niva Follower weekly to prevent corrupted SQLite session tables from causing unexpected app crashes.
Open a mobile web browser (like Chrome), go to instagram.com, and log into the affected burner account. Complete the security captcha or SMS/email verification challenge prompted by Instagram. Once successfully logged in via browser, wait 15 minutes, then re-open Niva Follower and log in.
If coins freeze during auto-follow or auto-like tasks, your burner account has hit Instagram’s hourly action ceiling. The app prevents further requests to protect the account from being disabled. Pause tasks for 60 to 90 minutes, or switch to a second burner account inside the app.
